The Design Story

The circular Scallop mirror takes inspiration from decorative convex and sunburst mirrors, but strips the idea back to a cleaner, more graphic form. The repeated scalloped edge creates a gentle rhythm around the frame, giving the piece a sense of movement and softness while retaining the symmetry and balance of a perfect circle.

Behind the Scenes

Made in the Shropshire workshops, each scalloped section is individually cut and hand-silvered to achieve variation in tone and texture, balancing precision with the softness and individuality that come through the making process. The cathedral glass catches and shifts with the light throughout the day, giving every mirror a changing quality depending on its setting.
