The Design Story

The Mary Mirror draws on the elegance of Georgian interiors, where proportion and balance carried more weight than ornament. Its gently crowned silhouette and softened shoulders create a calm architectural presence, while the hand-antiqued mirror plate introduces depth, softness, and atmosphere within the restrained frame.

Behind the Scenes

The foxed mirror plate is created through a traditional hand-silvering process that produces subtle movement and variation within the surface. Slight shifts in tone and transparency emerge naturally during making, ensuring no two pieces are identical. Every edge and contour is refined by hand in the Shropshire workshops.
