The Design Story

Inspired by the work of Marcel Coard, the Marcel Bench explores the contrast between solidity and lightness. Its bold angular supports give the piece a distinctive form from every angle. The proportions are carefully considered to ensure versatility within both contemporary and more traditional interiors. The bench works equally well as a standalone statement piece or as part of a layered decorative scheme.

Each Marcel Bench is handmade by skilled cabinet makers using traditional joinery techniques. The sculptural timber supports are carefully shaped and assembled to achieve crisp, precise lines while retaining the warmth and individuality of natural wood.
