The Design Story

Adapted from the original Croft Dining Chair, the Barstool retains the sweeping upholstered back and distinctive curved arms that define the series. The design has been carefully rebalanced for bar seating, creating a piece that is both elegant and exceptionally comfortable. The brass-plated steel pedestal grounds the soft upholstered form with warmth and weight, the patination giving each piece a subtly individual quality.

Behind the Scenes

Creating the Croft Bar Stool requires close collaboration between upholsterers, cabinet makers and metalworkers. The upholstered body is shaped and finished entirely by hand, with carefully applied stud detailing tracing the chair’s curved silhouette. Every junction between upholstery, timber and brass is carefully resolved so the piece feels seamless from every angle.
