The Design Story

Inspired by the work of Pierre Jeanneret and Jean Prouvé, the Luna Dining Chair was designed as a celebration of proportion, simplicity and material honesty. Its angular frame gives the chair a confident silhouette, softened by the tactile richness of cane. Lacquered versions feel bold and graphic, while natural timber brings a quieter warmth.

Behind the Scenes

Each Luna Dining Chair begins with a timber frame, carefully constructed and finished either in hand-applied lacquer or natural timber finishes that highlight the grain beneath. The woven cane back panels are crafted using traditional techniques, requiring careful tensioning to achieve both durability and the fine, open texture of the weave. Particular attention is paid to the junctions between timber, cane and upholstery so that every detail feels clean, considered and seamless.
