The Design Story

The Eleanor Mirror explores a softer, more sculptural interpretation of classical form. Its broad crest and curved shoulders create a flowing silhouette that feels elegant and composed, while the restrained detailing allows proportion and contour to take precedence. The hand-antiqued glass introduces a gentle softness to the strong outline, giving the piece warmth and atmosphere.

Behind the Scenes

The foxed mirror plate is created through a traditional hand-silvering process that produces subtle movement and variation within the surface. Slight shifts in tone and transparency emerge naturally during making, ensuring no two pieces are identical. Every edge and contour is refined by hand in the Shropshire workshops.
