The Design Story

The Clement table was designed to feel relaxed, elegant and enduring. Its broad zinc top has a calm simplicity, offset by the gentle rhythm of the scalloped edging, which introduces a subtle decorative note without overpowering the form. The combination of softened corners, riveted detailing and slender metal legs gives the table a sense of balance, sturdy yet refined, practical yet decorative.

Behind the Scenes

Each Clement tabletop is made by hand from sheet zinc, carefully shaped and worked over a timber substrate. The scalloped border is individually formed and fixed with exposed rivets, requiring precision and consistency to achieve the smooth rhythm of the edge. The zinc surface is then hand-finished to create a soft, lived-in patina that will continue to evolve beautifully with age and use. The powder-coated steel base is fabricated and assembled by hand, with every joint finished to maintain the table’s light, understated profile.
