Bifold Overmantel Mirror
Bespoke projects often call for creative solutions. For this private client, we developed a design that blends seamlessly with modern technology.
This bi-fold overmantel mirror features 12 antique mirror glass panels within a thin patinated brass frame. It is supported by a timber structure, painted to match the wall, allowing space for a concealed TV.
Patinated brass hinges allow the doors to fold back smoothly, revealing the TV, while concealed magnetic catches hold them in place when closed and open.
The mirror was tested throughout production to ensure it would withstand regular use.
