Kitchen+Sketch

We are looking for a skilled furniture designer and technician to join our team in the Design Studio in Shropshire. The successful applicant would be responsible for carrying out detailed working drawings and liaising with clients and makers. Proficiency in CAD and hand sketching is essential, and knowledge of Vectorworks, Photoshop/Illustrator, Sketch-Up and MS Office programs would also be advantageous.

Good communication and organisational skills required, along with knowledge of both traditional and modern construction methods. Previous experience essential.

Location: Ludlow, Shropshire
Salary: Dependent on experience

We are seeking a bright, confident, accomplished and enthusiastic individual to join the team at Rupert Bevan Ltd. This project co-ordinator would organise and oversee the final stages of projects and all fitted installations, and would assist in the management of both the making and finishing aspects of the production process.

The role requires someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently, has excellent organisational, numerical and communication skills, a can-do attitude, and a strong interest in furniture design, making and finishing. They would need to make regular visits to the Shropshire Design Studio and workshops, and would frequently be required to work on site. Previous management and relevant technical experience would be advantageous.

Location: London (with regular visits to Shropshire)
Salary: Dependent on experience
